Experience

Professional Summary

I love to write. It's what I do in my free time even though it's also how I earn a living.

For many years, I worked in-house, writing content for corporations such as Florida Business Interiors, Customer Management Systems, and Primo Management Group. These days, I’ve shifted to serving clients like you as a full-time freelance writer.

I believe writing experience is only part of the equation when it comes to us finding success together. Successful projects are about the people involved, and their ability to communicate openly and trust one another. Half the fun of writing for me is chatting with folks and seeing their eyes light up as they realize I get it – I see their ideas, no matter how nebulous, and can help make them real.

If you hire me, you're not just getting my abilities and experience as a writer, but also my unbreakable commitment to integrity, communication, and adaptability.

Rates

Affordable prices for any project you can dream up.

Your project is unique, and I understand and respect the importance of your budget. I strive to be competitive and affordable, and am always open to a fair discussion about how I can go to work for you at a great price.

I typically build out custom quotes specific to each project, basing it on the type of work, the deadline, and the quantity.

Need a per word rate? Let's discuss it. Per project price? Let's talk. Need something else entirely? No problem. I've never lost a fair client to price.

About Me

I'm a husband to a wife who loves me, and the daddy to a daughter who is growing up way too fast.

I love to laugh loud and often at great stand-up comedy, the perfect inside joke, or at myself. I’m told it’s infectious.

I record a podcast with my daughter called The K-Life Spesh. She asks me a question, we improvisationally collaborate on a fake answer, then I tell her the real answer that I’ve researched. It’s so much fun to make, and I’m grateful to have the memories recorded forever.

I've been playing guitar since I learned Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” (incorrectly) when I was 13, and still love cranking out some riffage with my Blackstar tube amp and Gibson SG. I own five guitars, but here's an interesting fact: I've never purchased a single one – they've all been gifted to me.

If you come hang out with me, chances are I'm grilling us some perfectly aged steaks or some succulent chicken to eat (vegetarian and vegan options available upon request). Cooking food over screaming hot charcoal is something I love doing, and folks tell me I'm pretty good at it (and my homemade ranch dip isn’t too shabby either).

I'm a huge fan of reading comic books and watching superhero movies, and one wall of my office is festooned with all sorts of memorabilia and posters to that effect. Captain America from Marvel’s Cinematic Universe is probably my favorite superhero, and I’ll watch the last 20 minutes of Avengers:Endgame anytime, anywhere.

I love board games and tabletop roleplaying games of all kinds, and when I'm not playing them, I write and design my own at Absolute Tabletop. I’m also part of a YouTube channel called Tabletop Terrors that focuses on fun, creativity and teaching people game design and how to play tabletop games.

The coolest person I've never met is you, but we're about to change all of that here real soon.
